Ethoxyacetyl chloride is employed in fine chemical syntheses and used as pharmaceutical intermediates. A trace of cis-ethoxyacetamide was also detected and isolated with an authentic sample prepared from the reaction of cis-3-amino-6-methylchroman-4-01 (2) with 2-ethoxyacetyl chloride. |
